Frequently Asked Questions...

Q:  WHEN ARE SLEEPY HOLLOW HAUNTED WAGON RIDES OPEN?

A:  We open on Friday October 4th, Saturday October 5th, Friday October 11th and Saturday October 12th. We will be open on October 17th-30th, except Sundays.

Q:  IS IT TOO SCARY FOR CHILDREN?

A:  This is a Halloween activity that is intended for all to enjoy.  The event includes a horse drawn wagon ride through the woods while listening to an audio narration of the Legend of Sleepy Hollow Story being played throughout your ride.  There are different sceneries and props along the way such as hanging ghosts in the trees, replica cemetery, etc.  The Headless Horseman may also make an appearance.  It definitely has a Halloween theme, but is not intended to be overly scary.  This is a unique Halloween activity that families will enjoy as well as teenagers and college age students.

Q:  HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?

A:  Tickets are $25.00 per person. $5.00 off discount tickets are readily available and can be found on our Facebook Page HERE. You must like us on Facebook to receive the discount.

Q:  WHERE ARE SLEEPY HOLLOW HAUNTED WAGON RIDES LOCATED?

A:  Sleepy Hollow is hosted by Rocky Mountain Outfitters and is located at Soldier Hollow in Midway, Utah.  Directions can be found HERE.

Q:  WHAT SHOULD WE BRING?

A:  We recommend that you dress appropriately for the weather conditions.  It can be cool at night this time of year.  You are also welcome to bring a blanket to use on the Horse Drawn Wagon.  Please, no flash photography.

Q: IS IT SCARY ENOUGH FOR ADULTS?

A: Yes, it is spooky for most. However, it is not our goal to be a spook alley. Our mission is to provide a unique horse drawn experience through the haunted woods of Sleepy Hollow. Please keep in mind that since we are 100% horse powered, we have to manage our thrills in order to provide the safest experience possible. That said, it isn't uncommon to hear thrilling screams from the woods, whether they're from the ghostly woman in white or the guests of Sleepy Hollow, who knows!

Q: HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN FIT ON A WAGON?

A: Our wagons seat approximately 15 people. If you have more than 15 people, please do not expect to fit on 1 wagon. Children 3 and under that can sit on adult's laps do not count.
